Homes, gardens and property projects in Chesham.
Design and construction for homes, gardens and the spaces that connect them.
Q Home & Garden works in Chesham and across the surrounding Buckinghamshire area, designing and constructing homes, gardens and complete property transformations.
Some projects begin with an extension or renovation. Others start with a garden that no longer works as it should, a new garden building, patio, driveway or decking area.
Whatever the starting point, we begin by understanding what you want the property to provide, how you want to use it and how you want it to feel.
Our work in and around Chesham may include
- Home extensions, renovation and refurbishment
- Construction of architect-designed homes
- Landscape and garden design
- Landscape construction
- Garden rooms, offices and other garden buildings
- Patios and terraces
- Timber, composite and Millboard decking
- Driveways, including block paving, natural stone, gravel and resin-bound surfaces
- Planting, drainage and water management
- Irrigation and rainwater harvesting
- Specialist works coordinated where required
The site and its wider setting should inform the project.
Chesham has a designated conservation area covering parts of its historic town centre. The town sits within the Chess Valley, and the River Chess and its associated ground conditions can be relevant to drainage and water management on some sites.
Design informed by construction.
Our practical construction experience influences the way we design and assess projects. We consider materials, structure, drainage, levels, access and buildability while ideas are developing rather than leaving them until work begins.
